Introducing the Composition

Artist Statment-

I chose the genre “Which Disney Princess Are You?”, it was a quiz with seven questions to see which disney princess you are. After taking the quiz I found out I was Snow White. I believe the purpose of this genre was to have the audience interact with it; having a quiz where the readers will have to participate to understand this specific genre is a great idea because they are personally involved in it. This genre is different because it stands out among all the others based on its interaction. The author seems to be trying to reach a connection with his or her reader's by piquing their interest with a quiz. I can tell because the author simply does not state just the princess you are, the author gives a description matching your personality with that princesses personality that you were paired with. The author seems to be trying to reach more a female based audience, younger in age, because disney princesses are idolized by young girls. The tone of the piece is very bubbly and happy, very appropriate for the purpose of finding a connection with these young girls. There were no sources used.
